Ho, Ho, Ho................... please Santa, get it right!!!
This past week saw some High Humidity in our neck of the woods. What that means to me.......... is to quickly spring clean, making sure there is nothing on the floor in the studio. The high humidity causes me to focus on protecting the fabric and wadding.
See those floor tiles? Well last Christmas they looked like a sheen of water ........ causing me to slip and slide around the longarm. I've invested in a large dehumidifier so as the problem can be better managed this year. Fingers crossed I don't have to spend days washing wadding and fabrics, hanging out rugs, and bleaching the walls.
Now for some quilting. More pics to post soon.

Love your studio Judy ... I would like even half that room!
ReplyDeleteI cannot even begin to imagine or understand your humidity problem. I live on the desert. If I wash my hair and let it air dry it will be dry in less than an hour (but I have thin hair).
ReplyDeleteNational quilters who paint on quilts love to come here for shows because their paint nearly dries while they are painting it. They can get more done because they don't have to wait a day to let the paint dry.
P.S. I would die for your sewing room and the view is gorgeous, but I'll take my dry little corner instead. (ha ha)
